GP referrals are too straightforward. ITU cases are too complex. Our short case library bridges that gap – giving you the exam-level cases you cannot easily find in clinical practice.

Cases Selected To Be Hard
Revision videos for CXR and AXR reporting to help organise your thoughts before you start
In the six months prior to your FRCR exam, you should aim to report 1,500 X-rays. Our recommendation is to start with institutional cases in months one to three, then supplement with online resources such as this. These packets have been designed to complement that form of teaching.
We recommend working through packets 1–33 over 40 days and then repeating them. Use packets 34 and 35 – which are abdominal radiographs – to consolidate and revise your reporting technique. Between the AXR lecture and these two packets there are enough cases to cement your exam position.
Each packet contains multiple radiology cases with detailed model answers. Subscribe to unlock the full library.

Working through 35 packets in sequence simulates the pressure and pace of the real exam. Candidates who reach exam day having reviewed this volume of material report feeling significantly more prepared.
Every case is reviewed for accuracy, clinical relevance, and alignment with UK FRCR 2B standards
